Leadership and Community

I believe that fostering a sense of community outside the classroom through extra curricular activities has the benefit of creating a positive atmosphere inside the classroom. By involving myself in the school community, I am able to do this by getting to know each of my students individually both inside and outside of the classroom. With this more personal connection, I am able to better differentiate my instruction and provide the best education for my students.

Night of Many Stories

I volunteered in the Italy room for Pheobe Gilman's night of many stories with a few students from my Grade 6 practicum. We brought in food, games, books, information, music, and sports inspired from Italy.
